My review on the Lightning Theif for the SIP

   Have you ever dreamed of being part of something bigger then life? Ever wondered what it was like to get a glympse into the world of the Greek Gods? For Percey Jackson he did. In this book this boy is found out to be the son of Posideon, the greek God of the oceans. He thought that being a demi-god, which is half mortal half god, would be the easy life. Neadless to say he soon found out it wasn't.
          Being half Posideon, Percey found a connection to water. His favorite animals were fish, his favorite sport were swimming. He seemed so different thn all of friends who liked dogs and playing basketball. Once he found out he was the son of Posideon he was relieved to know the reason for him being different. Once this is found out all of his problems seem to get even bigger. For protection he has to go to a camp for all of the demi-gods. Once he gets there all of the battles begin and the action starts to happen.
          This book is a mix of action yet it has a meaning to it. The meaning I found to be that no matter how different you are, that you should be happy. Also i found that this book means that being what you want to be, may not always be the best thing. Percey found this out the hard way becasue with being half god comes godly worries. Being a god there is almost like a scent that the evil being can smell out. The more powerful you god parent is the more powerful the smeel. Percey Jackson,s father was one of the big three so that gave him a strong scent, thus meaning that all of the evil beings were always after him.
          With being mainly about God, I find that there is a connection to my SIP. My topic for the SIP is marine biology. In this the main character has a love for the oceans. He loved the fish and the different types of sports in the water. This made me want to find out a little more about the different types of fish. i wanted to know about their adaptations. Sea life has always interested me. These are the reasons why i chose this book for my SIP. 
           I would highly recomend this book to anyone who is a fan of reading. i believe that anyone will like this book no matter what your favorite genre is. i gave this book five stars becuase this specific book happens to be one of my favorite books. If you want to read a good boook, you should pick this up from a store.

Reading

When a good book is found it is almost like your best friend. You never want to leave it. All that you want to do all day is just read. Lately i have been reading a lot of good books. I would like this good book streak to continue. The next book that i am going to be reading is the Great Gatsby. This book seems to have some slow points in them from reading a little of the first chapter. Most people that have read this book that i talk to, do not like it. I hope that i will like it however.

Reading has done good for me. Whenever I am stressed and just want to relax i take out a book and I feel fine. It is almost like a different world that I can get away from. If one thing is true it is that I will never give up my hope of reading.

My book review on The Westing Game

                    When thinking of a mystery book, what do you think about? A book that has action it and a murder you have to solve perhaps. Maybe even a book with a completely unpredictable ending. If this is your form of a great mystery book The Westing Game is for you! Everything listed in your answers will be in the book.
                   Throughout reading the book one line keeps being repeated by all the characters. "It's not what you have it's what you don't have that counts." This is said in the will of the "dead" man. This is a very important statement that must be remeber throughout the whole book. The will is thought to be true and had to be followed, it was not. Nothing in the will was right, not even the clues. The clues were only words to a song. Everything was to get their brains thinking and in the end when you find who the heir is, I personally garentee you did not see it coming. Nothing you believe to be true is!
                 "The murderer is far too cunning for my heirs to notice" This is too said in the will of the "dead" man. You see this little quote is ironic. Maybe it is ironic becuase, THERE WAS NO MURDERER! The so called "dead" man was faking his death to see what everyone would do. He wanted people to believe that he died so that they would convict his wife of the murder. To know this you would have to read the story but in short this is what happened. They had a child who was a girl. She wanted to marry someone but they broke them up. His wife was the reason for them to be broken up. After they broke up their child killed herself. This is why he believes his wife indirectly killed their daughter and wanted her to go to jail.
               This book gets you mind thinking in a way that you did not think it could. It pushes your thinking process to the brink.Nothing you think to be true in the book is. This book is like nothing you ever read before. You will love the way this book is though. The character really come to life in this book. It is almost like you are in the book and the characters are the people around you. They are explained so greatly and instead of changing through the book they stay constant. No other book that i have read recently did this.
             I would highly recomend this book to anyone who enjoys reading. One thing you would have to do while reading is arite a couple notes. I am not saying that you have to write a book review on every chapter but a few notes are needed. There are many characters in this book. I find that this fact gives it a better story becasue you have to think. in short if you want a good book to read, I reccomend this book.

review on the sea life in Austrailia

I personaly have never been to Austrailia, but I know a few people who have been. They all say that the sites there are amazing. One thing that I would love to go and do is scuba diving. Being on the coast of Austrailia and the Great Barier Reef not being far off there is nothing better to do. The amount of sea life there is massive. It ranges from the little sea crab to the mighty great white shark. You would have to be careful swimming there.
One thing for sure is that you will not be disappointed in the types of sea life. The oceans there are salt water. The salt water fish are generally more colorful than the fresh water fish. Some of the sea life there are not as peaceful as the seem. There are many deadly creatures there. Some of these creature have venom in them like the jellyfish. Another fish that you would have to look out for is the Great White. You will not have to look far to see this!
As a whole no one would be dissappointed seeing thse fish. Anyone would like to see something bright and cheerful. Not everything there is deadly. One day I would love to be able to say that I was here and to be able to say i scubba dived in the Great Barrier Reef.

The School Year As Of Now

Well it is already the end of the First marking period. This is also my first marking period in the school system becuase i am use to having trimesters. This is almost exciting because this is showing that time is really going fast and I also am confident that I did good in all subjects. This school truly is going fast. I remember the very first day of school when everyone was meeting each other. Just today everyone was talking all of their opinions on each other the first day. Everyone thought that i would be quiet and awkward, they were wrong! Everyone is so great in this program. This is almost like the school hand picked each one us to be good for each other. The program is good too. i stilll have a lot more to go for the year and i hope that it is just as good as this marking period.

Homework

Well this is something that everything gets but almost no one wants. I guess that in the end homework is good for us becuase it gives us a chance to practice what we learned and to make sure that we know what we are doing. Well there is a lot of homework this year and that ius something a little new to me. I at first did not like this becuase of the amount of homework but now i have gotten use to this. I guess that i have gotten use to this becuase i learned more time management skills. Whern i look at it in the long run homework was a good thing for me to have this year although i would rather not have to do it.

Halloween

This is a time where everyone can go out and express themselves in how they dress without being judged by anyone. It is a time to go out with your friends and just have a good time. Also it is a time to GET SOME FREE CANDY. Well everything about halloween i like. I like the idea that we get to dress up, that its an excuse to let your parents hang out with our friends, and it is all around a good time. Halloween is also during my favorite season, fall. I have a feeling that this year is going to be a good halloween. I can say this becuase like i said in my earlier posts I came from Philly and that was where all of my friends were so they were not able to hang out with my on that good day. So now that i am here i am able to hang out with some of the people from Med-Arts. well i hope that i am right about this year!

My take on School

Well this year everything changes. i went from grade school to high school. From catholic school to public school. From learning the old fashioned way to the new "21st century" way. All these changes at once was a lot to cope with, in fact during the begining of the school i was not able to do it. Than sometimes during the begining of October i kind of got the hang of it. Ever since i started getting what we have to have done i would not ever want to go back to grade school. I love the freedom that this school gives me. During class we dont have to ask to get up or anything we can just do it, i also like how we just walk around the campus. This is different becuase in my old school there were only nine rooms each one for grades K-8. We did not have to leave the building or walk far becuase all of the class rooms were right next to each other. I was so scared at first and during the school year becuase i thought that i would not like it. I think that it was my thinking that got me to not like it. i like the whole ideas of this program because i can finish high school before i am suppose to and go at my own pace. Well i am happy that i chose to come to this school

My typical Day

Well since school has started i have done a lot of school work. Nothing really ever changes. Well the weekends are when i have fun. It is finally the time i can sleep in and go out places. i usually sleep in so late becuase during the week i have to wake up at 5:40 in the morning. Well i also try to get done as most of my work for the week  done during the weekend. Well my days are usually boring. I don't really do anything else but homework. Well hey its good enough for me

my facinating life

I am A ninth grade and Camden County Technical School. I came to this school from Philly. My old school was St. Mary's on fifth and locust. it was a small school of 250 within 9 grades which is a giant contrast from the nearly 2000 in the four grades now. Thsi is a completly new thing for me. Its all on the computer and very hard to get used to. i also came into this program knowing nobody. well i am hoping to make the best of this and get a great start in the medical arts field.

    During the last year I have not read many books. The greatest I ever read was during the last year. The book was called To Kill A Mockingbird. The way the book was written like a circle blew me away. It kept my attention and I was never bored with it. The book was made by Harper Lee. This was the only book that she wrote. She supports this because she said that everything she had to say was in that one book. This book made me realize that just because a book doesn’t have a lot of action does not mean it can not be the best book that you read.
